When I came to the office today, the plant manager told me that we are going to exhibit at the New Environmental Exhibition this year.
New Environmental Exhibition? What’s that? I looked it up and found out…

…found out this Gorilla buddy, who deeply thinks about environmental issues.
It is an exhibition of services and technologies related to environmental protection and will be held for the 34th time this year.
And this is not the first time Sky Electronics exhibited its products since we are a company pushing eco-friendly energy, such as power generation from natural energy.
According to last year’s report, 724 companies exhibited at the exhibition together with the Global Warming Prevention Exhibition, held at the same time. And it seems that some overseas companies also participated.
There seemed to be exhibits in various fields ranging from civil engineering and construction to water purification and marine plastic issues, but if the same categories are used as last year, I am personally interested in “waste power generation”.
In Part 2 of the 80’s movie, Back to the Future, Doc Brown attached a machine called Mr. Fusion, a household nuclear reactor (actually a coffee mill), to the back of his time machine car, and when you pop food waste into it, it can generate the enormous amount of electricity needed for time travel, In the movie, the device was available in 2015, and in the real world, it is 10 years further in the future, so I think it is about time for a household garbage generator as powerful as that one.

By the way, there are many organizations supporting and co-sponsoring the New Environmental Exhibition, and it seems that the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan is among them. I have the impression that Europe and Germany are working hard on environmental issues, and I wonder if some German companies will be exhibiting. If so, I would be inclined to go say hello to the booths of those German companies since I have great memories of Germany.
…Well, my interest aside, the question is what will SKY Electronics exhibit, but that is something to look forward to. We look forward to seeing you there.
