Little Coils

Sky Electronics makes generators and other products, but at its core, it’s a manufacturer of coil components. Over here in this part of the workshop, we are assembling generators, but over there, it looks like the ladies are doing the finishing work on some very tiny coils.

I found some of those tiny coils right away. The lots of tiny dots on the right are the tiny coils; the one in the middle is a coil for a small generator; and on the left is my finger.

How tiny!

Sky Electronics specializes in manufacturing precision coils and specialty coils.

For example, this type of sensor coil has copper wire wound tightly around a core wire, and according to our founder, We are the only company in Japan capable of winding it around a core wire with a diameter of 0.1 mm.

It looks kind of like a kebab from a Turkish or Greek barbecue— looks delicious.

If we just wind it normally without a core wire, we can create ultimate micro-coil by winding a copper wire with a diameter of φ0.02 (0.02 mm thick! 20 microns!) into a spiral.

I personally like the shape of the coil below. It looks big at first glance, but the lens magnification is ×100!

If you are looking for micro coils—which are essential for product miniaturization—please feel free to contact Sky Electronics.
